Progress Energy has given mobility to our seniors with an extremely generous donation to the Fort St John Hospital Foundation. The $65,000 gift will be used to purchase a bus that will be dedicated to the new Residential Care Facility that is adjacent to our new hospital.

Crayon Box Creative Support

Crayon Box is a creative promotional store. They are also creative in the ways they support the Hospital Foundation.  They donate their skills to design newsletters, sewing on the cancer quilt, discounts on promotional items to name a few, even with all of that they still made a cash donation to the Foundation.  Thank You! 

NPSCU Casual Fridays

A huge thank to North Peace Savings & Credit Union for their latest donation.  The last Friday of every month the Credit Union staff pledges $5 to wear casual clothes on Fridays, then the board of directors matches every monthly pledge.  The NPSCU then donates that money directly back into the community.

 

Ending the year on a high note!

The Fort St John Hospital Foundation ended the 2011 year on a very high note.  Three companies, Encana, Spectra Energy and Arc Resources, stepped up and each made $10,000 donations. The Foundation was presented with cheques in support of their “Be an Angel” and “Lend Your Hand” Campaigns. These year end donations saw the Foundation’s “Angel” goal surpassed and the “Lend Your Hand” goal reach just over 1 Million dollars!!
