For the 2nd time, Doug Sather, Rob Sandberg, Darrell Stark, and Bruce Kindrat of First Choice Insurance & Investment and Sunlife Insurance, and their entire team, have come together to donate $6000 for the Community Cancer Centre located in our hospital.
This generous donation will be directed towards the purchase of a Digital Mammography Machine for our new hospital. This digital machine will replace our current analog unit in screening for breast cancer in women and men. Among the many benefits of a digital mammography machine are the results from the digital machine are faster, clearer and can be e-filed to a specialist regardless of location.
The $6000 donation from First Choice Insurance & Investment represents the type of community involvement that is so important to the residents of our area. First Choice's continuing support is wonderful and demonstrates their commitment to the people and the communities in which they do business. It also helps ensure our patients are well served and can receive the care that is so crucial when diagnosing and living with cancer.
